Mona Eisman: Experience & Background

Prior to establishing Eisman Marketing Group, Mona led global marketing efforts--which included marketing, advertising, public relations, research and new product development—at several leading beauty companies. Elizabeth Arden, the Jafra International Cosmetics division of Gillette and Max Factor division of Revlon have benefited from her expertise.

She has developed numerous comprehensive strategic business plans driven by the business goals of her employers and clients. Several of these plans have led to the divestiture of the companies—providing Mona with invaluable experience for the entrepreneurial side of her business. Throughout her career, by focusing on business results, Mona has created and executed successful programs in new product development, sourcing procedures, and promotions that have delivered significant increases in both revenue and profitability.

As Vice President of Marketing for Dick Clark Productions, Mona established a successful direct marketing company featuring products endorsed by Dick Clark and sold through home shopping, infomercial, and other direct marketing distribution channels. Her efforts produced skincare products and other entertainment products that generated profits of 20 percent and received the Vendor of the Year award from the Home Shopping Network.

Mona began her cosmetics career at Elizabeth Arden. While at Arden, she gained valuable experience in every aspect of the business, from operations, global sourcing and inventory management to financial planning and marketing. Her financial experience includes the development of the five-year strategic plan, which was instrumental in the divestiture of Elizabeth Arden. She was headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico as Marketing Manager – Caribbean and Latin America for two years, during which she created and directed strategies that doubled sales and increased profitability. Her accomplishments included the domestic and Duty Free launch of Fendi fragrance and the positioning, development, and implementation of Arden’s global skincare brand, the company’s largest profit contributor.
